Terms & Conditions Rules that keep our platform fair.

By accessing or using the Sahalat platform — including our website, mobile-optimised pages, and any related services — you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.

Sahalat is a digital marketplace that connects customers with independent, verified service providers ("vendors") across Bahrain. Sahalat does not itself perform any services; we facilitate the connection between customers and vendors.

The platform currently supports the following service categories:

• House Cleaning
• Water Tanker Delivery
• Transportation of Goods
• Machinery Hiring
• Construction & Maintenance
• Plumbing & Electrical Works

To access most features, you must register an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with third parties.
• Notify us immediately at info@sahalath.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Not create multiple accounts for the same individual or entity without written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.

As a customer using the Sahalat platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate service request details, including address, schedule, and service requirements.
• Be present or make appropriate arrangements at the time and location of the scheduled service.
• Treat service providers with respect and professionalism.
• Not misuse the bidding system by accepting bids without the intent to proceed.
• Pay any agreed-upon amounts directly to the service provider as specified in the accepted bid.
• Leave honest and accurate reviews based on your genuine experience.

Service providers must complete the Sahalat vendor registration process, including identity verification and document submission, before being approved on the platform. Approved vendors agree to:

• Provide only services listed under their approved service categories.
• Submit accurate, competitive, and honest bids.
• Honour all accepted bids and fulfil services as described.
• Maintain the licenses, permits, and certifications required under Bahraini law.
• Not solicit customers outside the Sahalat platform to avoid platform fees or oversight.

When you submit a service request on Sahalat, it is broadcast to eligible vendors in your area. Vendors may then submit bids for your consideration. The service is confirmed only when you explicitly accept a vendor's bid.

Sahalat does not guarantee that a vendor will respond to your request or that a specific service will be available on any given date.

• Service requests expire after a set period if no bid is accepted.
• Confirmed orders create a binding agreement between customer and vendor.
• All service sessions must be confirmed by the customer upon completion.

The Sahalat bidding system allows multiple vendors to submit competitive bids on a customer's service request. The customer reviews all bids and selects the most suitable offer.

• Vendors must set realistic and honest bid prices.
• Customers are under no obligation to accept any bid.
• Accepting a bid constitutes a binding commitment between the customer and vendor.
• Bids may be rejected by the customer without penalty prior to order confirmation.
• Sahalat reserves the right to remove bids that are fraudulent or manipulative.

Either party may cancel an order prior to commencement of service. Sahalat encourages responsible cancellation behaviour:

• Customers may cancel a confirmed order through the platform before the service session begins.
• Vendors may cancel only in exceptional circumstances; repeated vendor cancellations may result in account suspension.
• Last-minute cancellations (within 2 hours of the scheduled service) may be noted on your account record.
• Sahalat does not process refund payments directly — any refund or compensation arrangements are to be resolved between the customer and vendor.

After a service is completed, customers may leave a rating and written review. By submitting a review you agree that:

• Your review is based on a genuine, first-hand experience of the service.
• It does not contain false, defamatory, or misleading statements.
• It does not include personal information about the service provider.
• Sahalat may remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

All content on the Sahalat platform — including the logo, design, text, images, code, and trademarks — is the exclusive property of Sahalat or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Sahalat content without prior written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sahalat shall not be liable for:

• Any damage, injury, or loss resulting from services provided by vendors.
• Service cancellations, delays, or quality issues caused by vendors.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
• Interruptions or errors in platform availability due to maintenance or unforeseen events.

Sahalat's total liability to any user shall not exceed the total fees paid by that user to Sahalat in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or misused the platform.

You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team. Account closure does not affect any outstanding obligations (e.g., a confirmed order in progress).

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bahrain.
