What is Sahalat?

Sahalat is a digital service marketplace that connects customers in Bahrain with trusted and verified service providers. Instead of searching for contractors yourself, you submit a service request and receive competitive bids from pre-verified vendors β€” making the process faster, safer, and more transparent.

Is Sahalat available outside Bahrain?

At present, Sahalat operates exclusively in Bahrain. We are actively planning regional expansion and will announce new markets when they become available.

Is Sahalat free to use?

Yes. Creating an account and submitting service requests on Sahalat is completely free for customers. You only pay the vendor directly for the agreed service.

Is the platform available in Arabic?

Yes. Sahalat supports both English and Arabic. You can switch languages at any time using the language selector in the header or your dashboard.

Booking a Service

How do I book a service?

Booking on Sahalat is simple:

  1. Create a free account
  2. Choose the service you need
  3. Fill in your request details and preferred date
  4. Receive competitive bids from verified vendors
  5. Accept the best bid and confirm your booking
Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, you can cancel a booking before the vendor has started the service. Visit My Requests in your dashboard, open the booking, and select Cancel. Please note that repeated cancellations may affect your account standing.

Can I change the date or time after booking?

Date and time changes must be agreed with the vendor directly. Use the in-app messaging or contact our support team if the vendor is unresponsive.

How do I track my service request?

Go to My Requests in your dashboard. Each request shows its current status β€” Pending, Bids Received, Confirmed, In Progress, or Completed.

How do I choose the right bid?

Review each vendor's profile, star rating, number of completed jobs, and quoted price. You can also check customer reviews before accepting a bid.

What if I receive no bids?

If no bids arrive within 24 hours, try broadening your location, adjusting the schedule, or contacting our support team. We will help match you with an available provider.

Vendors & Bids

Who are the vendors on Sahalat?

Vendors are independent service professionals and companies registered on our platform. Every vendor goes through identity verification and approval by our admin team before they can bid on requests.

How do you verify vendors?

Our admin team reviews each vendor's registration documents, company credentials, and service experience. Only approved vendors appear on the platform.

How does the bidding process work?

Once you submit a request, verified vendors in the relevant service category can view it and submit a bid β€” their quoted price and any notes. You review all bids and choose the one that suits you best.

How can I join as a vendor?

Visit our vendor registration page, complete your profile, and upload the required documents. Our team will review your application and notify you within 2–3 business days.

Can I rate a vendor?

Yes. After a service is marked as completed, you will be prompted to leave a star rating (1–5) and an optional written review for the vendor.

What if a vendor behaves unprofessionally?

Please report the issue through the Contact Us page or email info@sahalath.com. We take all complaints seriously and will investigate promptly.

How do I create an account?

Click Sign Up on the homepage, enter your name, email or phone number, and set a password. You'll receive an OTP to verify your contact details before your account is activated.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Click Forgot Password on the login page, enter your registered email, and follow the reset link sent to your inbox.

How do I update my profile or address?

Log in and go to Profile Settings or Saved Addresses in your dashboard. Changes are saved immediately.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Contact us at info@sahalath.com with your request. We will process the deletion within 7 business days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Can I have multiple accounts?

No. Each person or business is permitted one account. Having multiple accounts may result in all accounts being suspended.

What is the typical response time?

We aim to respond to all enquiries within 2 business hours during working hours. Complex issues may take up to 24 hours.

How do I raise a complaint?

Submit your complaint through the Contact Us form or email info@sahalath.com with the subject line "Complaint". Include your booking reference number for faster resolution.
